Of Buko Pies and Hot Springs

Went to Los BaƱos last Thursday... That wasn't the original plan. Scott and I were suppose to go to Enchanted Kingdom instead. But it was pouring in Sta. Rosa - so we switched to plan B. It was interesting to go swimming on a rather drizzling day...

When we reached what I called the "pool complex" in Laguna, boys in bikes swarmed in our direction offering us a "private pool". They were a bunch pretty hard to drive away. The whole scene reminded me how boys in bikes swarmed me and my Dad when we were in Banawe looking for side mirrors for the Corolla (after some @#sho$% stole ours...) Funny scene...

We ended up in La Vista Pansol in the big Wet n Wild pool.. Well, the pool didn't sound that exciting.. it was wet.. but not wild.. or so we thought....

Later that afternoon, a rather big group of kids came with their parents. I assumed they were Muslim because the girls were wearing nice sarongs and shawls. Their heads and bodies were covered (even when swimming...) The kids were a raunchy bunch - diving in places they weren't suppose to.. These kids have really kept the ho-hum lifeguards on their feet..

After swimming, we decided to go driving around UP LB to sight see... Then we bought buko pies for Scott's family and mine - and some for Dose.

Arrived in Manila 730ish.. We ate again at Chef D' Angelo... (argh... bloated... heavy... feeling fat...)
