Swimming Class

Yes.

I am enrolled in a swimming class. You see, for years, I have always wanted to swim - the right way. But my parents always had "reasons" why they say I couldn't take lessons. It turns out money was an issue. So I decided that since I am bumming around, I should do something "healthy" with my life. From my savings, I enrolled myself in something I believed was something I wanted to do and needed to learn.

Good thing, I have a cousin about my age who needed to learn swimming as well. So we enrolled ourselves in the Lozada Swimming School. (I do hope I'll learn something...) The first lesson wasn't so bad - though I have to say my legs hurt from all the kicking.

Why take swimming lessons in the middle of JULY? Hmm... I honestly needed to get away from the house (with what's left of my last paycheck though...) - simply because my parents are bugging me to get a job that I don't want... Money is becomig a real issue now...

Investments....

Investment.

1. This word reminds me of getting an educational plan for my kids when I have the job and money to pay for it. So that my kids can take up whatever they want in college without having to worry about budget matters.

2. This reminds me that after working abroad, I'm going to invest in a good franchise business.

3. The word reminds me that I should invest in my body (by eating right and staying fit... - reminds me of the milk commercial...)

4. The word reminds me of the time I cried myself to sleep when my parents said that my brother was a good investment because they were able to convince him to take up nursing. They blurted - right in front of my face - that my brother made the right choice and how I would be left struggling here in the Philippines... Right then and there, it was affirmed - he was the favorite...

Just greeting my guy best-friend a happy 21st birthday!

It's been quite some time since I went out with my "boyfriends" (o siyempre, kasama na din si Chummy at Anj) I have to say that I absolutely missed them - the drinking, the music, the "abnormal" conversations... It was great to be "Kaybolish" again... It was nice to be home at Cityjam again (though I really wasn't used to the smoke anymore.. ahaha...)

Ate Joelle was really nice... She gave me this really nice colorpot.. Thank You! (and thank you for the sound advice!)

Went on a road trip down south yesterday after getting a rather lump, final paycheck...

Rode the Pacita bus (Green Star) from Landmark...

Pumunta sa bahay ni Scott... (wala lang... )

Napag-isipang bumili ng VCD sa may commercial complex sa labas...

Yesterday....

I left the office at around 510pm to catch the MRT to Quezon Ave. On my way up to the Ayala Station, around 530ish, I saw my buddy Stan going down the stairs. Something was wrong.

Rode the train with him... Then parted ways.. Hope he's now okay.

Met up with Scott sa Engg steps. Was really happy to see him. He got a haircut - finally! (Kundi tatawagin ko na siyang sanggano). Met up with Malor as well and we had dinner at Bomika's in KNL. Had a really yummy Oriental Chicken dinner.

Oh before that, I had to meet up with my orgmates from UP SAMASKOM. We had to discuss stuff regarding my participation in the upcoming Live AIDS 21 show. I still had a lot of issues to take care of - money matters, rehearsal schedules.. etc, etc.

Scott brought me home.. ahaha.. for once - 0n a weekday! heheh...
Today:
My back hurts like hell. Was suppose to have dinner with my blockmates... But I don't feel too good. Something is wrong with my back..... really wrong...

It's Wednesday...

Contemplating over everything that I've done this weekend. Went to see my friends, went to lola's house, spent time with Scott.. Saw "War of the Worlds" (aw, gory.. hehe... ).. etc, etc...
Went to The Asia Foundation event in Imus, Cavite.. Shucks, just realized that I LIKE EVENTS kahit nakakapagod sila.. Hm....

I only have a couple of days left in EON.. and I feel sad leaving. Weird right? Was enjoying ang pag ka PR ko! hay..

Too lazy to blog write.. Hay, I want to go to UP and see my friends..

Live AIDS is fast approaching.. yet my schedule is making it so impossible for me to be able to perform.. argh!

Nga pala, I am going to get a new post-paid line... soon.. a Sun line. So watch out... hehe...
